Chennai confirmed for Cup clash

Australia are scheduled to play India in a third round Asia-Oceania Group I match from May 8-10 in Chennai, but Tennis Australia had wanted the tie moved due to safety concerns.

The ITF sent a three-member security team to conduct a review of the arrangements last week.

The ITF said their security consultants had presented a positive report and Chennai was confirmed as the venue by the Davis Cup committee.
