After a successful campaign at the Miami Open, Cameron Norrie has switched the hard courts for clay.
Norrie stunned Alex de Minaur on his way to the Miami Open quarter-finals, and consequently reclaimed the British number one spot from Jack Draper.

Now the British star is in Monte Carlo preparing for the first major clay-court event of the year.
Ahead of the event, Norrie has teamed up with a former Grand Slam champion who has also been in excellent form at the start of this year.

Medvedev, the world number 10, has been in great form at the start of this year, winning titles in Brisbane and Dubai while also defeating Carlos Alcaraz on his way to the Indian Wells final.

Medvedev’s best result in Monte Carlo occurred in 2019, when he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas and Novak Djokovic on his way to the semi-finals.
The Russian has played at the event three more times since then, reaching the quarter-finals once, and the third round twice.
As for Norrie, the British star has failed to make it past the Monte Carlo third round in five attempts.
Last year Norrie entered the qualifying stages of the event, but lost to Italy’s Mattia Bellucci in the first round.
In fact, Norrie has not won a match at the event since his first appearance in 2019.
