Emilio Sanchez broke the world’s top ten singles rankings and was doubles world No.1 during his playing days, before founding the Barcelona-based academy with doubles partner Sergio Casal. In 2005 he was named Spain’s Davis Cup captain, leading the squad to their third title in 2008.

Founded in 1998, the Academia Sanchez-Casal has already garnered a reputation as world-renowned coaching facility, famously guiding a young Andy Murray through the junior ranks. The academy mission statement is “creating opportunities in tennis, in education, in life,” based on a coaching philosophy that focuses on teaching the core values of education, competitiveness, enthusiasm and industriousness: “developing successful young people in all aspects of life, using tennis and education as the vehicle for personal development.”

Sanchez and his team have never led such a series of workshops before here in the UK and numbers arestrictly limited, so don’t let the opportunity to spend some court time with one of the world’s top coaches pass you by!

Each four-hour session will cost between £80 and £90. Click here for more details and to download application forms for the coaching, junior and adult workshops. For more info contact Down the Line Sports at [email protected] or call them on 01904 639222.
