There are several notable rising British tennis stars who have all the potential to take the professional game by storm.
Mika Stojsavljevic became the highest ranked 16-year-old in 2025, while Hannah Klugman reached the final of the Roland Garros juniors last year.
Mimi Xu has also been hotly-tipped as she climbed to the cusp of the top 200 following her Wimbledon debut last year.
On the men’s side, a player who is even younger has been tipped as one of the most exciting young players for well over a decade.

The British star who has been tipped to take the ATP Tour by storm
Clinton Coleman knows a thing or two about discovering tennis talent, having had a hand in getting the likes of Nick Kyrgios and Alexandra Eala signed in their early careers.
The British scout has been keeping a keen eye on the talent on our shores, and he namechecked two young stars in an interview with The Times.
What is your bold prediction for the 2026 tennis season?
Coleman highlighted 15-year-old Megan Knight on the women’s side, as well as 12-year-old Max Hodkinson, who won the Carlos Moyá Under-12s tournament last year.
The British scout was particularly high on Hodkinson and suggested he could make it to the very top of the sport.
“He’s probably the best I’ve seen since Kyle [Edmund]. He’s the most exciting we’ve had for years coming through.”
Edmund reached a career-high ranking of World No. 14 in his career, which was cut short due to back injuries.
Max Hodkinson is already following in great footsteps
Hodkinson still has a long way to go until he reaches the heights of professional tennis, but he is currently doing all the right things.
The British star won the U12 Tennis Europe Winter Cup alongside Tomas Gabor and Cameron Rae in 2025, which is a feat also achieved by some of the very best in British tennis.
If you were in charge of tennis, what is the first rule you would change?
The last and only team to win the U12 Tennis Europe Winter Cup was a team featuring Jack Draper, Jacob Fearnley and George Loffhagen.
All three of those players have reached professional tennis, with Draper in particular shining on the ATP Tour.
