Berdych to face Youzhny in Munich

Berdych overcame Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, who defeated second seed Marin Cilic in the last eight, 6-1 5-7 6-2.

Earlier, Youzhny booked his place in the final after coming from a set down to defeat German wild card Daniel Brands 3-6 6-3 6-4 in a little under two hours.
