Becker backs Federer to regain title

Federer was beaten by Rafael Nadal in an epic final this year which robbed the Swiss star of a record sixth successive Wimbledon men’s singles title.

But Becker, who won the title three times during his career, said: “Federer had a rough summer and the Olympics wasn’t great for him, but he has the motivation for next year and I choose him to win Wimbledon.”
