Jovic made history on Sunday, becoming the youngest player to win a WTA Tour title this season following her victory at the Guadalajara Open.
The 17-year-old is now the youngest player in the WTA top 50, sitting at world number 36, and has been tipped to reach the top 10 by the end of 2026.

Iva Jovic, who posted a message on Instagram following her victory, has been well and truly noticed by former world number one Andy Roddick.
Speaking on ‘Served with Andy Roddick,’ the American icon showered the 17-year-old with praise, pointing to the youngster’s power as a particular strength.
Roddick said: “Iva Jovic. 17. Won a 500 last week, I know it’s a slower week post US Open and entry lists are a bit watered down, but she plays big. She hits the ball really, really big.
“She is the youngest American to win a Tour title since Coco in 2021. She can play ball!
We have so many American women who are ranked so high. She’s 36 at 17 and it’s like we don’t even talk about it. Amazing!
“She is legit and she is only going to get better. Her movement will get better. She has power that you can’t teach. She’s really fun to watch.”
