Andy Murray answers big question about Djokovic in hilarious interview
They often say “Never work with animals or children” and Andy Murray might well agree with that statement today after he was grilled by a 9 year old interviewer and forced to answer some tough questions
Andy Murray is playing at the Queens Club Fever Tree Championships this week where he will return to competitive tennis for the first time since losing in a 5 set thriller at the Australian Open in January. Murray’s entered the doubles with Spanish friend Feliciano Lopez and will play his first round today on Centre court at Queen’s Club, but he wouldn’t have anticipated that his toughest moment of the week would come during a fun interview with a hilarious 9 year old called Vuk!
The interview kicked off with the aspiring reporter asking Murray if he was friends with Novak Djokovic and then, when Murray seemed to try and avoid asking the question by talking about his past with Djokovic, he was asked again twice before he finally confirmed that, “Ok, i’ll put friend, yeah friend, lets go with friend”

Andy Murray has played Novak Djokovic 36 times on the ATP Tour and Djokovic has won 25 of those 36 battles with Murray winning 11. They haven’t played since 2017 when Djokovic beat Murray in Doha in 3 sets and it seems unlikely they will face each other again for some time as Murray has stated he probably won’t be playing singles again until nearer the end of 2019.
Djokovic was knocked out of the French Open in the semi-final by Dominic Thiem and hasn’t played a tournament since then. In the past Djokovic has played in Eastbourne at the Nature Valley Open but so far he hasn’t entered the event which means his first match on grass this season may well be his first round at Wimbledon in 10 days time.
