Russian Daniil Medvedev dropped to No.5 in the world after losing last 4 matches of 2019 buy says he will work harder in 2020
Daniil Medvedev may have had his best ever season in tennis rising to no.5 in the world rankings after starting the season ranked no. 19 but that doesn’t seem to be enough for the incredibly ambitious youngster as he broadcast his disappointment at his end of season form.
Medvedev took to Twitter to close out his 2019 season saying, “What an amazing year it was? 2019 gave me so many ups and downs, like The American swing I would have never even dreamt of and a poor end of the season, but see you soon 2020, will work harder ???”

The Russian reached 6 finals in a row winning 4 of them during an incredible spell of performances that took him above roger Federer to No.3 in thew AP rankings but a slip in form saw him lose his last 4 matches including all 3 of his round robin games at thje ATP Fianls.
