Cilic reveals Ivanisevic split


Cilic has worked with the former Wimbledon champion since 2013, and won his maiden Grand Slam under Ivanisevic’s guidance at the 2014 US Open.

“It was huge privilege to work with Goran, I enjoyed our work all this time and Goran helped me to reach many goals,” Cilic said in a statement on his facebook page. “Unfortunately, the road we were sharing on this journey is separating and I wish only the best for Goran in the future.”

Earlier this month 27-year-old Cilic reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, where he had three match points before losing to Roger Federer.
