Kyrgios has been playing more doubles recently and has partnered with a great many different players including Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Australian has been keen to promote the format in an attempt to raise awareness and encourage more of he regular singles players on the ATP Tour to play doubles.

another playing doing the same has been andy Murray who has used doubles as a way of playing competitive tennis whilst he fights to regain full match fitness after hip surgery.
