TNT Sports expands: tennis, cycling, and Olympic coverage join the lineup
Eurosport integrates with TNT Sports in the UK & Ireland, bringing Grand Slam tennis, Olympic coverage, and more to a single destination starting in February 2025.
TNT Sports is set to become an even bigger force in live sports broadcasting, with Eurosport officially integrating into its UK and Ireland platform from February 28, 2025. The move brings a powerhouse lineup of events, including Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, Grand Tour cycling, UCI Mountain Bike World Series, and extensive winter sports coverage, alongside existing rights for Premier League football, UFC, and MotoGP.
Scott Young, Group SVP of Content, Production & Business Operations at WBD Sports Europe, described the merger as a game-changer for sports fans. “Combining Eurosport and TNT Sports content in the UK and Ireland will enable us to offer a single, premium viewing experience for sports fans,” Young said. “This move will also continue to best deliver value for our leagues and federation partners, as we continue our 35 years plus commitment to investment and championing of sport on our screens.”
In addition to premium sports programming, TNT Sports will enhance its free-to-air offerings through Quest, Warner Bros. Discovery’s Freeview channel. “TNT Sports will also continue to bring more content to fans on Warner Bros. Discovery’s free-to-air channel Quest,” Young added. “In 2025, this will include broadcasting every MotoGP Sprint race, adding to existing live Bennetts British Superbikes coverage, a brand-new weekly cycling show covering all key moments of the season, and highlights of the Giro d’Italia and La Vuelta a España.”
While the Eurosport brand will remain in more than 50 territories across Europe, its UK and Ireland coverage will now be fully housed under the TNT Sports banner, streamlining access for fans. With this expansion, TNT Sports continues to solidify its place as a leading destination for world-class sporting action.
