Getting started
PYC was founded in 2007 by Scott Baxter, a former Division 1 player and teaching pro who saw a huge gap in the market for a convenient and modern alternative to expensive tennis clubs and instructors reserved for the elite. He built PYC as a way to make tennis more accessible to everyone, especially kids and beginners to the game.
First things first is to download the free PlayYourCourt app which is available on all good app stores. We went to the Apple App Store on our iPhone and found it really easy to find and install the playYourCourt app.
The onboarding process does involve answering a few questions about yourself but it didn’t take long and we understand why gathering this information at the start of our onboarding process is important so that they can offer us a tailored service that suits our individual requirements.
Once you are into the app and have registered your account you’ll find there are specific services that are free for everyone, such as the ability to find and book a coach or enjoy their coaching content then there are other services such as finding partners to play against that require a paid membership. there are 3 options here:
