Clijsters welcomes Henin return

Henin, 27, will make her comeback in January and will be looking to add to her seven grand slam titles.

Clijsters said on www.kimclijsters.be: “I think Justine’s return is very good news for women’s tennis, but the news is even better for Belgian tennis. Justine worked very hard in the past to achieve magnificent results in her ‘first’ career. It’s magnificent for tennis that she is returning.”

Clijsters won the US Open this month, in only her third tournament since returning to the tour, having retired in May 2007.
