Robson, who was born in Australia, beat her Croatian opponent 6-4 6-2 to ease into the quarter-finals.

The 15-year-old, seeded fifth at the tournament, will play Elena Bogdan of Romania in the last eight.

Meanwhile, Heather Watson is also through to the quarter-finals after defeating Japan’s Miyabi Inoue 7-6 (7-1) 4-6 6-4.
