Kirilenko battles into final

The 21-year-old Russian did not have it all her own way but eventually triumphed 6-4 3-6 6-4 against the 23-year-old Estonian to reach Sunday’s final, where she will play Australian Samantha Stosur.

Stosur enjoyed a trouble-free passage to the final on Saturday, losing only one game in seeing off American Jill Craybas 6-0 6-1.
