The Serbian, chasing her second title of the year, clinched a 6-4 2-6 6-4 win over fifth seed Vera Zvonareva of Russia.

Kuznetsova, the 2004 US Open champion, overcame unseeded Zheng Jie of China 7-6 (7/3) 7-5.
