Prague semis delayed

The opening semi between Sybille Bammer and Iveta Benesova was called off after just 13 minutes due to the downpours, which continued throughout the day.

The players will resume at 10am local time on Sunday with second-seeded Bammer leading number three seed Benesova 3-0 in the first set.

The second semi-final between top seed Francesca Schiavone and qualifier Timea Bacsinszky will also start at 10am on Sunday with the final to take place in the afternoon.
