Cameron Norrie French Open 2021

Social Slice: Norrie extends winning streak; Rublev rolls into another final

On Social Slice today, British star Cameron Norrie has continued his fine form in 2021 to reach the Queens final, while Andrey Rublev will play in his first grass court final later today.

Firstly, Cam Norrie, who is yet to an ATP title, will take on Matteo Berrettini today on home soil. The Brit defeated Denis Shapovalov yesterday in the semi-finals, here is his reaction.

In other news, Andrey Rublev will take on Ugo Humbert for the title in Halle. The Russian defeat Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili in three sets yesterday. This one-two punch was pretty special.

Grass court tennis is great for sliding, diving and falling. Just ask Frances Tiafoe. Shapovalov certainly found the funny side.

While on the topic of sliding and dancing on the grass courts, Shapovalov done a better job than Tiafoe. Perhaps Frances needs some lessons from Denis?

Finally, Ugo Humbert reached his first singles final of 2021 after a three set victory against Felix Auger-Aliassime. We think he enjoys the winning feeling.
