While she has reached a career-best ranking of 12th and is considered a rising star, the 18-year-old Wozniacki has yet to reach a semi-final in four tournaments this season, though she now has four appearances in the quarters to her credit.
Facing the 29-year-old Bremond for the first time, Wozniacki erased a 2-0 deficit in the second set en route to reaching the round of eight for the third time in four appearances at this hard-court event.
The biggest challenge for Wozniacki in her half of the draw could come from fourth-seeded Brit Anne Keothavong, who pushed into the quarter-finals with a 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 win over Portuguese wild card Michelle Larcherde.
Keothavong had a strong start to year with a semi-final effort in Auckland, but was just 1-2 in her last two tournaments prior to this.
Two victories shy of reaching her maiden final, the 25-year-old will meet fifth-seeded Marina Erakovic of New Zealand next.
Third seed Lucie Safarova advanced to the quarters on the opposite side of the draw, posting a 7-6 (7-1), 6-3 victory over American Vania King.
Up next for the Czech is sixth-seeded German Sabine Lisicki, a 6-2, 6-4 winner over France’s Stephanie Foretz.
Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, the second seed, moved through to the quarters on Tuesday and will face number eight Pauline Parmentier.
