The world No. 1 will take part in the LA Tennis Challenge, where he will play Mardy Fish before teaming up with idol Pete Sampras to take on top-ranked doubles players Bob and Mike Bryan.

It is just one of a series of events and exhibitions taking place around the globe on the inaugural World Tennis Day on March 4, part of the International Tennis Federation’s centenary celebrations._ь_ь

Rafael Nadal takes on Juan Martin Del Potro at the BNP Paribas Showdown in New York’s Madison Square Garden, where the world’s top two women – Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka – will go head-to-head.

Agnieszka Radwanska will take on Caroline Wozniacki in Hong Kong, while legends John McEnroe and Ivan Lendl will resume rivalries at the AsiaWorld-Arena.

To celebrate World Tennis Day, we have five copies of the The International Tennis Federation: A Century of Contribution to Tennis to give away.

Written by Chris Bowers, A Century of Contribution to Tennis examines the foundation of the International Lawn Tennis Federation (ITLF) in 1913 and charts the federation’s role in developing tennis over the last century.
