Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal’s singles rivalry is one of the fiercest in tennis history, as the two giants collided 60 times in their careers.
Djokovic edged the head-to-head record with 31 victories, including four monumental wins in Grand Slam finals.
The pair were a thorn in each other’s side for 18 years since their first match in the Roland Garros quarter-finals in 2006.
Despite their heated rivalry on the court, the two men surprisingly teamed together on one occasion at the 2010 Toronto Masters.

Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic’s sole doubles match
Nadal and Djokovic shockingly decided to team up at the Canadian Open when they were ranked as the world’s number one and two.
Nadal was ranked the best player in the world, while Djokovic was fighting tooth and nail to try and dislodge his great rival.
By entering the doubles, they became the first world number one and two to play together in a tour doubles match since Jimmy Connors and Arthur Ashe in 1976.
The partnership was short-lived, however, as they didn’t make it past the first round at the Masters tournament.
They met wild cards Vasek Pospisil and Milos Raonic, who at the time were both young hotshots trying to make a name for themselves.
They did exactly that by defeating the best two players in the world thanks to a thrilling 10-point deciding tie-break.
The 2010 Canadian Open marks the first and only time the two great rivals joined forces at an ATP doubles event.
What happened in the 2010 Canadian Open singles draw?
Nadal and Djokovic fared better in the singles event, but neither man managed to lift the trophy in Canada.
The two men looked to be on a collision course to meet in the finals, but both fell at the semi-final stage.
Nadal lost to eventual winner Andy Murray, while Djokovic fell to another one of his fierce rivals, Roger Federer.
Murray beat Federer in the final 7-5, 7-5 to become the first man since Andre Agassi in 1995 to defend the Canadian Open title, having won the tournament in 2009.
