Madison Keys and Qinwen Zheng are set to play each other for only the second time on the WTA Tour.
Keys defeated Elena-Gabriela Ruse 6-0, 6-3 in her opening match at the Miami Open.
Zheng, meanwhile, beat 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens, 6-3, 6-2.

Zheng, the 2024 Olympic champion, missed much of the 2025 season due to a painful elbow injury.
She has won two of her four matches since returning to the Tour, and will hope to avenge her previous loss to Keys when the pair walk onto the Floridian court on Sunday.
Madison Keys defeated Qinwen Zheng in their last match
At the 2023 Washington Open, Madison Keys beat Qinwen Zheng 7-5, 6-1 in the first round.

It was Keys’ first win at the event in a decade, with prior victories coming at the 2013 event.
Zheng struggled on serve throughout, hitting 10 double faults and making only 38 per cent of her first-serve attempts.
Keys, meanwhile, won 74 per cent of her first serve points and converted four of her 10 break-point opportunities.
Keys went on to reach the quarter-finals, where she lost to Maria Sakkari.
Three years later, the pair are scheduled to play each other once again; and much has changed since their last meeting.
Keys is now a Grand Slam champion, while Zheng has claimed Olympic gold and emerged as one of the best young talents on the WTA Tour.
If you were in charge of tennis, what is the first rule you would change?
Who will the winner of Keys and Zheng play in the fourth round?
The winner of Keys and Zheng will likely face world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the Miami Open quarter-finals.
Sabalenka, who won Indian Wells earlier this month, is scheduled to play Caty McNally in the fourth round.
Keys has a 2-6 losing record against Sabalenka, while Zheng has won only one of her eight matches against the Belarusian.
Is Aryna Sabalenka vs Elena Rybakina the best rivalry in women’s tennis right now?
If not, who is?
Zheng’s sole victory against Sabalenka came at the 2025 Italian Open, where she won their quarter-finals contest 6-4, 6-3.
