Linda Noskova defeated Karolina Muchova in an all-Czech Wimbledon final.

Three of the last four Wimbledon women’s singles champions have been Czech, with Noskova following in the footsteps of Barbora Krejcikova and Marketa Vondrousova.

How many Grand Slam titles will Linda Noskova win in her career?

She's the 2026 Wimbledon champion!

Before them, Petra Kvitova and Jana Novotna made their nation proud.

So, as Czech women begin to dominate Wimbledon, which three players should you be looking out for next year?

Marie Bouzkova

27-year-old Marie Bouzkova isn’t exactly a young prospect, but that doesn’t mean she should be overlooked.

Bouzkova impressed on grass this year, winning nine of the 11 matches she played, taking home the Nottingham Open title before reaching the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Those results have seen the Czech reach a new career-high of 21st in the world.

Bouzkova has played her best tennis at Wimbledon throughout her career and is a former quarter-finalist at the event.

So don’t be surprised if she takes another step forward and challenges for the title in 2027.

Sara Bejlek

Sara Bejlek is another player worth keeping an eye on.

The 20-year-old didn’t set the world alight at Wimbledon this year, but she’s still young and has plenty of time to learn how to play her best tennis on the surface.

While we have yet to see much from Bejlek on the grass, we did see her win a WTA 500 title earlier this year, defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova in the Abu Dhabi Open final.

The potential is there for everyone to see, the only question is whether her game will translate on grass.

She may not be as likely as Bouzkova to challenge for the title next year, but there is every chance that before the end of her career, Bejlek will add her name to the list of Czech Wimbledon champions.

Nikola Bartunkova

Nikola Bartunkova, on the other hand, has already proven she can play on grass.

The 20-year-old reached the final of the Birmingham Classic, the quarter-finals of the Berlin Open, and reached the third round of Wimbledon this season.

She may be young, but she is immensely talented, and her results prove that.

What’s remarkable about Bartunkova, is that her defeats are almost more impressive than her wins.

The Czech pushed Alex Eala and Aryna Sabalenka all the way on grass this year, earning some serious praise from the world number one after their Berlin Open clash.

“I just think that she played incredible tennis, not much I could do, she was just like smacking the ball, it was an unbelievable level. Honestly, I felt like it was her match and I didn’t know what to do,” said Sabalenka during her post-match interview.

“Oh my god, what a player, what an incredible young girl, future superstar, for sure.”

Bartunkova certainly looked like a superstar on grass this year and will surely be targeting a first appearance in the second week of Wimbledon when she returns in 2027.
