A player who is yet to crack the WTA Tour top 50 has managed to pick up more wins than players in the top 10.
Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka have dominated the WTA rankings in 2025, but they are not leading the way for wins on the tour.
A 23-year-old star, who was once described by Emma Raducanu as ‘dangerous’, has managed to pick up more wins than the top three players in the world.
The rising star recently picked up her 72nd win on the WTA Tour to cap off an incredibly successful season in 2025.

The player with more wins than Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff
Janice Tjen ended her season on a high by lifting the Chennai Open to claim the first singles title of her career.
Tjen’s victory in Chennai also earned the Indonesian talent her 72nd win on the WTA Tour this season, which is more than most of the top players.
The star, who lost to Raducanu in the US Open, has been thriving at the latter-end of the season, enjoying a final appearance at the Sao Paulo Open.
Tjen went one better in Chennai by lifting the trophy, but she’s managed to pick up an extraordinary amount of wins this season.
The star’s 72 wins is 11 more victories than World No. 2 Swiatek, and 13 more than World No. 1 Sabalenka has managed in 2025.
Janice Tjen’s new WTA Tour ranking
Despite the star’s incredible amount of wins in 2025, Tjen has still not been able to crack the WTA Tour top 50.
Her win in Chennai has seen her claim the World No. 53 position at the end of the year, which is 27 places higher than her than her previous career high of World No. 80.
Tjen has climbed 358 places on the WTA Tour since the start of the year, having started 2025 as the World No. 411.
It surely won’t be long before the Indonesian talent is cracking the top 32 and challenging for the biggest tournaments on the calendar.
