Jannik Sinner’s latest win at the China Open has seen him reach a landmark 200 wins on hard court since 2020, but he’s still not the player with the most wins.
The World No. 2 survived a fightback from Terence Atmane to narrowly win in three sets to confirm his place in the quarter-final.
Sinner is improving his game to try and challenge Carlos Alcaraz for the World No. 1 spot before the end of the season.
The star has looked impressive at the China Open so far, and he will play Fábián Marozsán in the last eight in Beijing.
The star’s 200th hard court win since 2020 has only been bested by one surprise star on the ATP Tour.

Daniil Medvedev is the only player with more hard court wins than Jannik Sinner since 2020
Sinner’s 200th win on hard courts since 2020 is the second best record on the ATP Tour, but he’s not surrounded by the players you’d expect.
Daniil Medvedev tops the list with 208 wins since 2020, despite disappointing performances in 2025 that have seen him exit at the first time of asking at the US Open and the Cincinnati Open.
Sinner is also nestled next to Andrey Rublev, who has slipped outside of the ATP Tour top 10 this year, and lost in the first round of the Australian Open.
Perhaps less surprisingly, Taylor Fritz is in fourth place and Alexander Zverev is the final player in the top five.
Alcaraz, meanwhile, is behind on 133 hard court wins since 2020, although he did not debut on the ATP Tour until the year after.
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner join elite list at China Open
Sinner and Alcaraz are overwhelmingly the best two players in the world, and their dominance has been showcased by both men joining the top 10 biggest win percentages in tennis.
Of course, Alcaraz and Sinner have played far less than some of the greats, but they currently hold an extraordinary win percentage.
Alcaraz has the eighth best win percentage in the sport with 81%, while Sinner is in tenth with a 78% win rate.
The rising stars are currently brushing shoulders with some of the greats of the game, including Rod Laver and Ivan Lendl.
