Hannah Klugman is one of Great Britain’s most promising young tennis players.
Klugman, who grew up in Wimbledon village, is a former LTA Junior National Championships in the under-16 girls’ singles category.
The 16-year-old became the first British junior grand slam finalist at the French Open since Michelle Tyler in 1976 when she reached the final of the Girls Singles event in June. Klugman lost the final to prodigal talent Lilli Tagger, who has been compared to Carlos Alcaraz and Ashleigh Barty.
Klugman made her WTA Tour debut a short time later at the Nottingham Open, where she lost in the first round to Yulia Putintseva.
With the way Klugman is progressing, she certainly has the potential to challenge Emma Raducanu for the British number one spot in the future.

Hannah Klugman has been training at the Rafa Nadal Academy
Klugman has taken her talents to Mallorca this off-season to train at the prestigious Rafa Nadal Academy.
The institution, established in 2016, has nurtured the likes of Alexandra Eala, Jaume Munar and Martin Landaluce through their academy program.
In an Instagram post, a spokesman for the Academy said: “Hannah Klugman putting in the work at the Rafa Nadal Academy. She’s gearing up for an epic 2026!”
Klugman, ranked 652 in the world, last played a competitive Grand Slam match in the US Open Girls Singles event.
The Brit reached the semi-finals before losing to Belgian star Jeline Vandromme, 6-3, 6-2. Vandromme, ranked 344 in the world, won the ITF Junior Finals in October.
Hannah Klugman’s doubles record at Grand Slams
Hannah Klugman has an impressive doubles resume in junior Grand Slam events. The Brit has reached two Grand Slam finals – the 2023 Wimbledon Championships and 2025 Australian Open.
At Wimbledon, Klugman and compatriot Isabella Lacy lost to Czech pair Alena Kovačková and Laura Samsonová in the final, 6-4, 7-5.
Almost two years later, Klugman suffered a similar fate. The Brit and Australian star Emerson Jones – who has received a wildcard for the 2026 Australian Open – lost to American pair Annika Penickova and Kristina Penickova, 6-4, 6-2.
