At the time of writing, Eala has garnered 219 of the 289 votes cast by Tennishead readers.
This total equates to over 75 per cent of the overall vote.

This result comes as somewhat of a surprise considering the past achievements of Swiatek and Eala.
Swiatek is a six-time major champion and the title holder at the All England Club.

In contrast, Eala has won only three Grand Slam matches to date.
Alex Eala’s achievements on the Tour have been impressive, but they cannot be compared to those of Swiatek at this stage in the Filipina’s career.
However, it seems tennis fans have faith in the youngster, believing that the Filipina will emerge victorious when she competes against Swiatek on Saturday.

A month after Eala’s groundbreaking victory in Miami, the pair met once again at the Madrid Open.
Eala, unseeded at the event, defeated Bulgarian player Victoria Tomova 6-3, 6-2 in the first round.
Swiatek then ended the Filipina’s campaign, triumphing 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the Manolo Santana Stadium.
“I understand that there’s hype about these young players, but you have got to be focused on yourself,” Swiatek said after the match, as reported by BBC Sport.

“Honestly, I didn’t realise it, I had better things to think about.”
Swiatek went on to reach the semi-finals in Madrid, beating Linda Noskova, Diana Shnaider and Madison Keys en route.
In the last four, she was defeated by Coco Gauff.
