Tennis on TV Next Week: How to watch the Monte Carlo Masters and the BJK Cup Qualifiers!

The first clay ATP 1000 event of the year is now underway, and we have all the information on how you can watch the likes of Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz at the Monte Carlo Masters over the next week.

How can you watch the Monte Carlo Masters?

Novak Djokovic is a two-time champion in Monte Carlo, but has only won two of his last five matches at the tournament.

The Serbian is not the only former winner returning to the event this year, with defending champion Andrey Rublev, two-time winner Stefanos Tsitsipas and 2015 victor Stan Wawrinka also looking for more success in Monaco.

However, record 11-time champion Rafael Nadal will not be present, after announcing his withdrawal from the event due to not being physically ready to compete.

There are still lots of stars remaining at the tournament, with Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner and Wimbledon winner Carlos Alcaraz present.

Sinner has only lost one match all year, to the aforementioned Alcaraz at Indian Wells, and achieved his best result in Monte Carlo last year when reaching the semi-finals.

It is only Alcaraz’s second appearance at the ATP 1000 tournament, after pulling out last year due to injury.

Other top seeds in the draw include Italian Open winner Daniil Medvedev, last year’s runner-up Holger Rune and two-time Roland Garros finalist Casper Ruud.

You can watch the Monte Carlo Masters on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis TV worldwide.

How can you watch the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers?

There are no main tour WTA events next week, because players are competing for their respective nations in the Billie Jean King (BJK) Cup instead.

The main event comes this weekend, with 16 nations playing across eight ties for a place in the BJK Cup Finals in Seville later this year.

Included in these ties are Switzerland taking on world No.1 Iga Swiatek’s Poland, Great Britain looking for revenge in a rematch with France, and 18-time champions USA against Belgium.

These ties will include the likes of Naomi Osaka, Emma Raducanu, Jessica Pegula, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Elina Svitolina and many more!

You can watch the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifier tie between Great Britain and France on BBC Iplayer or Tennis Channel in the United Kingdom.

To find out how to watch all eight of the different ties in various locations, visit the official BJK Cup website here.
