After being absent from the Tour for the majority of last year, Jack Draper has slipped from world number four to 14.

However, the British star has now returned to the court following his left arm injury, and will look to rise back up the rankings in the coming months.

Who is to blame for Jack Draper’s injury issues?

Tennis fans believe Jack Draper will be ranked outside the top 10 at the end of 2026

With Jack Draper winning Indian Wells and reaching the final of the Madrid Masters last year, one might expect Draper to quickly rise back up the rankings now that he is healthy.

However, the majority of Tennishead readers do not believe that Draper will climb back up the rankings, instead concluding that he will remain outside the top 10 at the end of 2026.

Of the 1,013 votes cast, 37 per cent of readers predicted that Draper would end 2026 ranked outside of the top 10.

Around 35 per cent of readers believe Draper will be ranked between five and 10 on the ATP Tour come the end of the year, while 24 per cent have predicted Draper to finish the year ranked between third and fifth.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, only 4 per cent believe Draper will upset the dominance of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner by finishing 2026 ranked inside the top two.

Draper, ranked 14th in the world, could slip further down the rankings over the next two weeks if he does not register a strong performance in California.

Having won the 2025 Indian Wells title, Draper is defending 1000 ranking points at the event; and any major slip-up could see him tumble down the rankings.

Where will Jack Draper be ranked by the end of 2026?

Indian Wells prize money

If Jack Draper were to defend his title in Indian Wells, he would earn $1,151,380 in prize money.

The minimum he will earn is $36,110, if he loses in the second round against Fabian Maroszan or Roberto Bautista Agut.

The prize money total for the 2026 event is $9,415,725.

To the surprise of many, the tournament’s prize money has actually decreased from 2025.
