Legendary tennis coach Rick Macci has produced a ballpark figure for how many Grand Slams Iga Swiatek will win in her career.

The Polish star stunned at Wimbledon by double bageling Amanda Anisimova in the final, but Swiatek lost to the American in the US Open semi-final.

Swiatek is set for the Korea Open after the US Open, where she could play Emma Raducanu in the second-round.

Ahead of her first stint on the Asian leg of the WTA Tour, Macci has revealed how many Grand Slams he expected Swiatek to get.

Rick Macci predicts ‘double digit’ Grand Slams for Iga Swiatek

Macci shared his thoughts on Swiatek’s chances at Grand Slam success following a year that’s seen her notch one more major win.

“The Punisher has another gear as she has no fear,” said the coach who trained Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Maria Sharapova.

“This Polish Dealer is now shuffling the cards and making you run more yards,” he added. “Taking more chances and will attend more Grand Slam dances.”

Macci then dropped a prediction about just how many Grand Slams he was certain the star would pick up in her career.

[She] will win double-digit majors for sure, because she moves like a blur,” revealed the legendary tennis coach.

Swiatek is currently sitting on six Grand Slams, after winning four Roland Garros titles, and a Wimbledon and US Open.

Who has the most Grand Slam titles in WTA history?

At 24-years-old, Swiatek has plenty of time to challenge the biggest names in the sport for Grand Slam titles.

However, while Macci believes she’ll reach at least 10 major titles, she’ll have a way to go to reach Margaret Court’s 24.

  1. Margaret Court: 24 titles
  2. Serena Williams: 23 titles
  3. Steffi Graf: 22 titles
  4. Helen Wills: 19 titles
  5. Chris Evert: and Martina Navratilova: 18 titles each

Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova’s 18 titles each could be possible if the Polish star stays injury free for the next decade.

Whichever number Swiatek lands on at the end of the career, there’s no doubt she’s one of the best in the sport.
