The 14-year-old Wimbledon girls’ singles champion lost 6-2 3-6 6-0 to Estonian Maret Ani, a player ranked 105th in the world.

Robson was seeking her first professional title but could not live with 26-year-old Ani, who booked a meeting with Italian Roberta Vinci, in the deciding set.
