Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas face tough draws in Paris

Rafael Nadal faces a difficult draw as he bids to win his first 1000 Paris Masters title, whilst second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas also has a tough route to the final. 

The 2020 edition of the Paris Masters will commence on the 2nd November in the last 1000 Masters Series event with the year, with Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev all in action.

Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem were both expected to compete in Paris, though both players have withdrawn ahead of the ATP finals in London in November.

Nadal will face a tricky second-round opponent in former finalist Filip Krajinovic or fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez before a possible third-round meeting against Borna Coric. The Spaniard also has Pablo Carreno Busta and David Goffin in his quarter, with a potential semi-final match up against Alexander Zverev or Andrey Rublev.

World No 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas also has a tough draw as he faces either Casper Ruud or Ugo Humbert before a potential clash with Felix Auger-Aliassime in the third round.

Tsitsipas also has Matteo Berrettini in his quarter, with the Italian needing all available points as he bids to qualify for the ATP finals ahead of either Andrey Rublev or Diego Schwartzman.
