Pam Shriver has revealed who she believes is the most underrated champion of all time in tennis history.
Shriver is a former US Open singles finalist and won 22 Grand Slam titles in doubles.
The American still remains a very prominent figure in tennis, with Shriver coaching Donna Vekic for nearly three years, helping her to reach the Wimbledon semifinals and win an Olympic silver medal.
Shriver is no longer coaching Vekic, and she has now revealed which Grand Slam champion she thinks is the most underrated of all time.

Shriver appeared on the latest edition of The Tennis Worthy Podcast, where at the end she was asked some quickfire questions.
This included Shriver naming Chris Evert as the toughest competitor she ever faced, while picking doubles partner Martina Navratilova as the smartest player she ever came up against.
Shriver then chose nine-time Grand Slam champion Sara Errani as the player with the best doubles instincts, before being asked to name the most underrated champion.
The 63-year-old responded by naming three-time major winner Stan Wawrinka, who is retiring from tennis at the end of the 2026 season.

Shriver then stated that Novak Djokovic was the player she would most like to pay to watch, before calling New York the best tennis city.

The final question asked Shriver what the most memorable match of her entire career was.
As previously mentioned, Shriver reached the 1978 US Open singles final and won 22 major titles in doubles.
However, Shriver actually picked her victory over Steffi Graf at the 1988 WTA Finals in Madison Square Gardens.

This was the year that Graf made tennis history by becoming the only player ever to have completed the Golden Slam.
Graf would only lose to two players that entire year, with Shriver joining Gabriela Sabatini at the final tournament of the season.
