Nick Kyrgios is set for a high-profile return to tennis at the Brisbane International in 2026.
The Australian has not played an ATP-level tournament since the Miami Open, where he beat Mackenzie McDonald and lost to Karan Khachanov.
Kyrgios is a former Brisbane International winner when he claimed the singles title in 2018, and he is also set to play the doubles in 2026.

The pair have long played together, with their partnership peaking when they won the Australian Open in 2022.

The pair received a wild card for their home Grand Slam and ended up defeating top seeds Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić, as well as Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.

Kyrgios has played the Brisbane International doubles event several times, including notably with Taylor Fritz in 2019.
