Nadal to miss Davis Cup tie

The world number one was forced to miss Wimbledon with tendonitis in both knees and announced he has lost his battle to be fit for the defending champions’ last-eight tie against the Germans in Marbella.

Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez have been named for the clash which takes place from July 10-12.
