Daniil Medvedev headlines a strong field in St Petersburg as he bids to retain his 2019 St Petersburg title, whilst compatriots Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov also feature.Β Β
The 25th edition of the St. Petersburg Open, which has been upgraded to an ATP 500 event in the revised 2020 calendar, will take place from 12th – 18th October 2020.
World No 5 Daniil Medvedev will be looking to retain his St. Petersburg title, whilst Rublev and Khachanov also bid to win their second titles on home soil, after winning the VTB Kremlin Cup in Moscow in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
Whilst Rublev has been in brilliant form so far this year winning three titles, including the Hamburg Open last month, compatriots Medvedev and Khachanov are still searching for their first titles of the season.
Alongside the Russian trio, Canadian pairing Denis Shapovalov and Milos Raonic, Stan Wawrinka and French Open quarter-finalist Janik Sinner will also feature.
