Mauresmo too strong for Ivanovic

The Serbian put up little fight as Amelie Mauresmo clinched a 6-3 6-2 quarter-final win in just over an hour.

Mauresmo will next face Marion Bartoli, who beat Tathiana Garbin 6-3 6-3.

Second seed Victoria Azarenka survived an early scare to beat Lucie Safarova 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 and book her place in the last four.

Azarenka will now meet Italian Sara Errani, who saw off Olga Govortsova 6-3 6-3.
