Madison Keys notched her 11th career title on Sunday after defeating Tatjana Maria in the Eastbourne Open final.
Keys, 31, beat the 2025 Queen’s Club champion 7-6, 6-4 on the Eastbourne Centre Court.
The American is widely considered to be one of the best grass-court players on the WTA Tour, and she has now strengthened that argument after winning her sixth title on the surface.

Keys’ triumph also marked her third success at the event, following victorious campaigns in 2014 and 2023.
After emerging victorious on the south coast of England, Keys reacted to her success on social media.

“Number 11,” the American said in an Instagram post, referring to the number of titles she has won on the WTA Tour.
“Congratulations Tatjana Maria on a great week and thank you to everyone for all the support, she continued. “Love you Eastbourne.”
Jessica Pegula, Keys’ compatriot and the world number four, offered her congratulations to Keys in two separate comments.
“Three times is crazy,” she said. “Queen of Eastbourne.”
Keys will now shift her attention towards Wimbledon, where she is a former quarter-finalist.
The American will play compatriot Kayla Day in the first round.
Should Keys advance past Day, she will compete for a third-round spot against either Irina-Camelia Begu or British wildcard Katie Swan.
Last year, Keys defeated Elena-Gabriela Ruse and Olga Danilovic at Wimbledon, before losing to Laura Siegemund.

Madison Keys’ Wimbledon debut
Keys made her Wimbledon debut at the 2013 event.
The youngster received a tough draw in south-west London: she faced home favourite Heather Watson in the first round.
Keys proceeded to defy the Wimbledon crowd cheering on Watson, triumphing 6-3, 7-5.
The American’s good form continued in the next round – she defeated Germany’s Mona Barthel 6-4, 6-2.
Keys’ run came to an end in the third round with defeat to fourth seed Agnieszka Radwańska.
Radwanska, a Wimbledon finalist, defeated Keys 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
