The Londoner, ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, on Tuesday.

Fans of the 25-year-old, who climbed more than 60 world ranking places during 2008, can now keep track of her progress on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour as she chases a place in the top 50.

The website features news, results, blogs, profile information, on and off-court photos, video, Twitter, details of Annes schedule and gives users the chance to quiz the Briton on every aspect of life as a pro tennis player in the Ask Anne section.

Launching my own website is something Ive been meaning to do for a while and now seemed like the perfect time to do it, Anne said. The guys at tennishead have done a great job.

Anne, who trains at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton under the guidance of LTA coaches Nigel Sears and Claire Curran, hit the headlines in 2008 when she became the first British woman to enter the world top 100 for nine years.

Last year she won four ITF singles titles, rose to a career-high ranking of No.60 and reached the third round of the US Open in September.

2008 was a great time for me but I want 2009 to be even better, Anne added.

My short-term goal is to break into the top 50 and Im looking forward to getting out there and competing as it feels like a while since I last played a match.

I worked a lot on my strength in the off-season and I definitely feel a lot stronger and more powerful.
