John McEnroe gives the percentage chance of Karolina Muchova beating Linda Noskova in the Wimbledon final

Karolina Muchova will play Linda Noskova in an all-Czech Wimbledon final on Saturday, July 11.

After Muchova defeated Coco Gauff in a three-set thriller, Noskova joined her in the Wimbledon final with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Marta Kostyuk.

Who will win the 2026 Wimbledon women’s final?

Neither player has won a Grand Slam title before, adding to the intrigue of what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the women’s event.

Wimbledon legend John McEnroe has now predicted who will win this year’s final.

During the latest episode of ‘6-Love-6‘, McEnroe shared his thoughts on the final.

“I would give 60/40 to [Karolina] Muchova,” he said.

“I think she is going to win.”

McEnroe is backing Muchova to win her first Grand Slam at Wimbledon.

The 29-year-old has played one previous major final, losing to Iga Swiatek at the French Open three years ago.

She has always threatened to break through, but injuries have only heightened her inconsistency, preventing her from reaching her full potential.

But perhaps this is her moment to get over the line and become a Grand Slam champion.

Not everyone is backing Muchova, though, as former British tennis star Naomi Broady disagreed with McEnroe’s assessment.

“I am the opposite, I would say 60/40 for [Linda] Noskova,” she said.

“It’s going to be close!”

Noskova has never played a Grand Slam final before, but has looked mightily impressive on grass this year.

She has won 11 of the 12 matches she’s played on the surface in 2026, winning a title in Berlin ahead of the Wimbledon Championships.

The 21-year-old also looks to be in better physical shape than Muchova, who was seen clutching her side during the latter stages of her semi-final win.

However, McEnroe has now disputed claims that Muchova is injured.

“That was a stitch,” he said.

“That wasn’t an injury. She was tired, but this match could be a lot quicker.

“That was a great win for her today. She is 6-1 down career head to head with Coco [Gauff] and lost the first six. Has Noskova been there before? No!”

What’s next for Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova after the Wimbledon final?

Muchova and Noskova began the tournament as fringe top-10 players, but that won’t be the case much longer.

Both players have announced themselves as genuine contenders and could well challenge for more Grand Slam titles in the future.

One thing is for certain: no WTA player will want to see Muchova or Noskova in their section of the draw when the US Open begins!
