Jiri Lehecka’s dream run at the Miami Open continued as he produced a scintillating display to dispatch Arthur Fils in the semi-final.

The Czech star dropped just four games against an in-form Fils to reach the first Masters final of his young career.

Lehecka has also beaten Taylor Fritz, Martin Landaluce, Ethan Quinn, and Moise Kouame so far at the Miami Open.

The 24-year-old’s run at the Miami Open has seen him land an achievement that no player since Novak Djokovic in 2018 has managed to do.

Jiri Lehecka hits Novak Djokovic achievement in Miami

The Czech star’s unbeaten run at the Miami Open has seen him win every single match so far in straight sets.

Lehecka has been so dominant on his serve at the event that he is yet to be broken so far at the tournament.

Can anyone stop Jannik Sinner from winning the Sunshine Double?

That is an achievement that hasn’t been managed for eight years, when Djokovic hit the milestone at the Shanghai Masters.

Djokovic even beat Borna Coric in the final without dropping his serve, which could be a good omen for Lehecka.

Lehecka will now compete in his first ATP final since losing the European Open to Felix Auger-Aliassime in October 2025.

The Czech star has won two ATP titles in his career so far, at the Adelaide International and the Brisbane International.

Jiri Lehecka’s head-to-head record against Jannik Sinner

Lehecka faces an incredibly tough task to continue his perfect record at the Miami Open against Jannik Sinner in the final.

The Czech star is yet to defeat Sinner on the ATP Tour, losing all three of his matches so far to the world number two.

Will Jannik Sinner overtake Carlos Alcaraz and become world number one? 🤔

If so, when will he do it?

Lehecka has lost at Indian Wells, the China Open, and Roland Garros to the Italian and he is yet to win a single set.

The 24-year-old will need to continue his superb serving if he wants to have any chance of winning his first Masters title.

Sinner, meanwhile, is looking to win the Sunshine Double following his victory at Indian Wells earlier this month.

The Italian is also on track to dislodge Carlos Alcaraz as the world number one. The star needs to win in Miami and Monte Carlo to reach the summit of the ATP Tour yet again.
