Harriet Dart secured the seventh ITF title of her career on Sunday by winning the W75 tournament in Toronto, Canada.
The British star, ranked 112 in the world, defeated Jenny Durst, compatriot Amelia Rajecki, and Viktoria Hruncakova on her way to the semi-finals.
There, she defeated Canada’s Katherine Sebov 6-4, 6-0, before triumphing against America’s Fiona Crawley.

Dart, who defeated Crawley 6-2, 6-2, prepared for the tournament by practicing with world number five Jessica Pegula.
Dart uploaded a celebratory Instagram post following her success, and Pegula could not help but leave a comment.
Jessica Pegula comedically ‘takes credit’ for Harriet Dart’s title win
On Instagram, Dart said: “Rewarding week. Steady progress, brick by brick. Shake Shack opening nearby this week has been the highlight.”
Jessica Pegula, who defeated Coco Gauff at the WTA Finals on Sunday, chimed in with a comedic reply to Dart, saying: “Okay, definitely taking credit since I was the last practice before you left.”
Fellow American tennis player Jennifer Brady replied to Pegula: “10 per cent? Or Harriet can take credit for whatever happens in Riyadh? 10 per cent? Oh?.”
Pegula responded: “Duh. It goes both ways.”
Dart was seemingly amused by the discussion, replying to the pair with two laughing emojis.
Dart has won six ITF singles titles during her career: in Egypt, Djibouti, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom and Tunisia.
However, none of these titles were won at the WTA 75 level, making Dart’s triumph in Canada the biggest ITF singles title of her career.
The 29-year-old has now won two ITF singles titles in three months, following her success in Tunisia in September.
The Brit has never won a Challenger event in singles. Her best performance came at the 2024 Canberra Open, where she lost 4-6, 3-6 to Spain’s Nuno Parrizas Diaz.
However, Dart has won two Challenger events in doubles, winning the 2024 Midland Open and the 2025 Caldas de Rainha Open.
Dart was paired with American Asia Muhammad in 2021 and fellow Brit Maia Lumsden in 2025.
Dart’s record against Pegula
Unfortunately for fans of Dart, the Brit has failed to defeat Jessica Pegula in either of the two matches they have played.
Pegula first defeated Dart in the second round of the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. Dart took an early lead, but was unable to prevent Pegula from winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.

In 2023, the pair met again, this time at the United Cup.
Pegula romped to victory on this occasion, winning the contest 6-2, 6-0.
