Janowicz still finding his feet

The 6ft 8in Pole fired 30 aces during his 7-6(6) 6-3 6-4 victory over the No.15 seed on Centre Court as he reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career.

Although he admits his game is well suited to the grass, Janowicz insists he does not feel at home on the surface.

“You know, the biggest problem with grass is I don't have a chance to practice on grass because we don't have any grass courts in Poland,” Janowicz said. “So during one year I have only basically three weeks' possibility to play on grass.  So I have to like it somehow.”

“I rather play on clay court or hard court because simply I'm used to it. But with my game, I think grass suits me well.”

Janowicz will meet Jurgen Melzer in the fourth round following the Austrian’s 6-2 2-6 7-5 6-3 victory over Roger Federer’s conqueror Sergiy Stakhovsky.
