Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz were the dominant forces on the ATP Tour this year.
The pair won all four Grand Slams combined, as they did in 2024. Sinner won the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and Alcaraz won the French Open and US Open.
Alcaraz, who announced his shock departure from Juan Carlos Ferrero on Wednesday, emerged from the 2025 ATP Tour campaign holding the end-of-season world number one trophy, pipping Sinner to the post by 550 points.

However, it is Sinner who has walked away with a notable end-of-season award, despite trailing Alcaraz in the rankings.
Jannik Sinner is the 2025 ITF World Champion for Men’s Singles
Jannik Sinner’s outstanding 2025 season has resulted in him being crowned the International Tennis Federation’s 2025 World Champion in the Men’s Singles category.
Sinner, who won the year-ending ATP Finals event, also won the award in 2024 following Grand Slam successes at the Australian Open and US Open.
Carlos Alcaraz won the same amount of Grand Slams as Sinner and reclaimed the world number one spot from his Italian rival.

Alcaraz has also won more titles than Sinner this year – eight to Sinner’s six.
However, the award focuses on Grand Slam performance. Sinner outperformed Alcaraz at the majors this year, reaching all four finals. Alcaraz made three finals, and one quarter-final appearance [Australian Open].
Other award winners include Aryna Sabalenka and Ivan Ivanov, who won the Women’s Singles and Junior Boys categories respectively.
Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini won the Women’s Doubles award, while Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers won the Men’s Doubles category.

In 1978, Swedish tennis legend Bjorn Borg became the first-ever ITF Men’s Singles World Champion after winning the French Open and Wimbledon that year.
Borg would go on to win the award twice more, in 1979 and 1980.
