Jannik Sinner earned his place in his first-ever Monte-Carlo Masters final by defeating Alexander Zverev.
The Italian dispatched Zverev for the ninth time in a row, losing just five games in a dominant straight sets victory.
Sinner was called ‘flawless’ against Zverev and he will now await the winner of Carlos Alcaraz or Valentin Vacherot in the final.
With his latest victory against Zverev, the world number two has usurped a career record of Stan Wawrinka.

Five of his six victories against Alcaraz have come while the Spaniard is inside the top 10, and his most recent victory against his rival was while he was world number one.
