Jannik Sinner breezed through to the ATP Finals knockout stages with an unbeaten record at his home tournament.
Sinner comprehensively defeated Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and Felix Auger-Aliassime to finish top of his group.
The Italian will play Alex de Minaur in the semi-finals as he looks to win the ATP Finals for the second consecutive year.
The world number two made ATP Finals history after picking up yet another win against Shelton this season.

Jannik Sinner makes ATP Finals history
Sinner last tasted defeat at the ATP Finals in 2023, when he lost in straight sets to Novak Djokovic in the final.
The Italian has won all his group games for the second year in a row, and he’s done so without dropping a set.
He’s become the first player to not drop a set in six straight round robin matches in ATP Finals history, dating back to the tournament’s inaugural year in 1970.
Other than Djokovic, the only player to defeat Sinner at the tournament is Daniil Medvedev, who picked up a win against the Italian during his very first year in 2021.
Sinner entered the tournament as an alternate in 2021, taking over from Matteo Berrettini in the group stages.
The star defeated Hubert Hurkacz, but was defeated by Medvedev in his first taste of the year-end tournament.
Every player Jannik Sinner has beaten at the ATP Finals
Sinner has now already beaten 10 different players at the ATP Finals across his three different stints at the tournament.
The Italian has already picked up 12 wins at the tournament, bolstered by his 2024 victory and 2023 final appearance.
| Players Jannik Sinner has beaten at the ATP Finals | Year |
| Ben Shelton | 2025 |
| Felix Auger-Aliassime | 2025 |
| Alexander Zverev | 2025 |
| Daniil Medvedev | 2024 and 2023 |
| Taylor Fritz | 2024 (twice) |

| Casper Ruud | 2024 |
| Novak Djokovic | 2023 |

The indoor hardcourt setting suits Sinner and the only players to beat him, Djokovic and Medvedev, are not playing the tournament.
The world number two looks like the nailed-on favourite to take home the trophy, although Carlos Alcaraz will be hoping he can stop him.
Another final between the Spaniard and the Italian looks likely as the 2025 ATP Tour season comes to a close.
