After announcing his farewell from the sport, Murray has suggested certain areas of his career that he could have changed.

Jamie Murray reflects on his tennis career
Speaking to BBC 5 Live, Murray reflected on an incredible tennis career which brought him seven Grand Slam titles.
“I think getting to number one in the world is basically the peak of the sport. That’s what all kids dream of and so few are able to do it really,” he said.

“It’s also a testament to your consistency I think, I guess also longevity as well. To play on the tour for 20 years at that level is something and also coming from Dunblane in Scotland where there’s no history of tennis.
“There’s no environment for tennis. I would imagine the odds were against us from the start but we were able to make some good things happen I think.”
Despite his success on the tennis court, Murray still believes he could have achieved more during his career.
“I don’t think I have regrets,” he added. Do I think I could have achieved more? Yeah at times, for sure. There will always be matches that you think back on that maybe you could have done better or that would have changed the outcome in certain situations.
“But at the end of the day I was able to play on the Tour for 20 years. Played against pretty much all the best players in the world. Biggest tournaments on the biggest courts. What more can I really ask for?”
As well as seven major titles, Murray also reached world number one in the doubles rankings and was part of the Great Britain team which won the Davis Cup in 2015.
