James Trotman has shared his thoughts about splitting with Jack Draper after their four successful years together.
The pair concluded their working relationship after their most productive year together, which saw Draper reach a career ranking of World No. 4.
Draper will return at the UTS Finals, but he will be working with new coach Jamie Delgado instead of Trotman.
The British coach has reacted to the news and shared some words after the announcement of the split.

James Trotman says he’s ‘proud’ of his work with Jack Draper
Trotman helped Draper join the ATP Tour elite in 2025, with three title wins including his biggest to date at Indian Wells.
The pair had been working together since 2021, when Draper was just 19, and Trotman has celebrated their time together.
“I’ll be following and supporting in any way I can. I feel incredibly proud of the work that I’ve done,” said Trotman via The LTA.
“Where Jack is now is not just as a result of me, it’s a result of everybody that’s worked with Jack and his family from a young age.”
Draper will begin his work with new coach Delgado, who has previously worked with Andy Murray, Grigor Dimitrov, and Denis Shapovalov.
Jack Draper praised ‘special’ James Trotman for his work
Draper has previously heralded Trotman for his work and he will surely be missed from the British star’s team.
“Trots is a very special man,” Draper previously told Tennis Icon before the split. “Obviously, he’s an incredible tennis coach.”
“He’s been on the journey with me for many years now even before he was officially my coach,” the British No. 1 added.
“We have such a close, personal, and professional relationship and I think the style in which he coaches me and the way he is around me, he gets the absolute best out of me, and I wouldn’t want anyone else in my corner.
“He inspires me every day, and he’s a real mentor to me. I tell him most days that I love him very, very much.”
Draper will be looking to reassert himself in the ATP Tour top 10 when he returns from injury in 2026.
