It has been a difficult seven months for British number one Jack Draper.
Draper, who rose to world number four at the start of 2025 after winning the Indian Wells title, has suffered a debilitating left arm injury that has kept him from competing for the best part of seven months.
The British star was expected to return for the Australian Open. However, he has since withdrawn from the event and is not expected to return to competitive play until February.
Draper is set to make his return when Great Britain play Norway in the first round of Davis Cup qualifiers, set to take place in the first week of February.
Who is to blame for Jack Draper’s injury issues?
On Wednesday, his participation in another event was confirmed.

Stan Wawrinka receives a wildcard
Stan Wawrinka, a three-time Grand Slam champion, has received a wildcard spot for the 2026 Rotterdam Open.
Wawrinka won the 2015 Rotterdam title, defeating Tomas Berdych in the final. He also reached the final in 2019, but lost to Gael Monfils.

What is your best memory of Stan Wawrinka?
The Swiss maestro recently performed well at the United Cup, defeating Shanghai Masters finalist Arthur Rinderknech.
He will hope to continue his good form next week when he competes at the Australian Open – the tournament where he won his first Grand Slam title in 2014.
